Loved this puzzle, though I didn’t understand how the revealer related to the four entries until I read Wordplay. Maybe I need to do the “D’oh!” puzzle now.
I loved this puzzle! No repetitive fill, just perfect for a Monday.
Loved this one for its interesting, solvable clues. My favourite was 25A, and I had one lookup for 9D, which was annoying because the answer is part of my daily life!
@Upstate Kate I’m a Sydneysider like Patrick J and teapots have tea leaves ( a tsp full for each person and one for the pot). To prevent the tea leaves getting into your cup, you can put them in a tea infuser - I have a TARDIS shaped one. Or you pour the tea into your cup through a tea strainer. PS don’t tell Patrick J that I sometimes use teabags instead!
@Andrzej, I’m Australian and I did the same. Of course, it’s the New York… puzzle, so I can’t really complain that it’s got too many American references, but today I just gave up.
@Jacqui J I thought the app closing repeatedly was just me! What’s causing it?
@Xword Junkie and yet this was one of my favourite puzzles for so many reasons - and answers like ‘ TAKEABOW’ still have me smiling, Just shows we’re all different thank goodness.
