@MExpat Tell me your favorite part. Was it conflating tunnels with ditches, conflating Holland with Dutch, referencing a stadium that hasn’t existed for 12 years, the forced acronyms to make it fit (STA, REL, ELEC, EMP, SOC, ETAS, etc)?
Super fun! Lovez et batch. Is it just me, or do the words ewe, bama, and epee keep popping up over the past few weeks?
I’m genuinely seeking help. For many crosswords, I don’t know when I’m supposed to know that there are things like rebuses, or using an asterisk to mean “star,” or (like Thursdays) answers bouncing onto another line to be complete, or in this case, rotating circles that fill in the rest of the answer once you figure out the answer going the other way. These articles give away the answers, so my notion is that you’re not supposed to reference the article for hints. Is there somewhere else to go to find hints of when these weird extras are included in the puzzle? Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks!
