Very happy with that. I’m excited to do well but my time being a minute more than my average was just fine given how tricky those clues were. And wild new words too. Great new constructor!

Not a big challenge but fun and zesty choices. I feel the “yeah, I’m sure” has a little John Wick energy. And I can’t remember where but another puzzle I did recently also used “nerf” in the same context. I don’t know if I would have gotten it so quickly otherwise.

13 Down, I was shocked to find I don’t remember ever hearing the term “car share” and then still not understanding because “key changes” probably aren’t that common. “Key exchanges” probably more common. But ok you got me, I was even trying to decipher “car’s hare” for a minute there.

I didn’t get it, came here and when I got to the part that said “look again,” I did, and then I got it. I read on and realized the trickiness of the clues for the down answers. My solving time, 4:48 faster then my Thursday average, should be docked to include all this time.

I guess it’s just me but I have a mistake somewhere and for the life of me I cannot find it. I guess I just have to give up since it doesn’t appear to be any kind of glitch but boy that’s frustrating. Bizarre.

Maybe a little pedantic, but I must point out that Cat Stevens is also an “adopted” name. Needed a parenthetical!
