I really enjoyed this puzzle. I was stumped by the black boxes, and shaded boxes which spelled 'Help' until after I finished. I had a real laugh when I realized what they represented.

I found this crossword to be rather confusing and tricky, wondering how everything fit together. Only after staring at the finished puzzle for a few minutes did the "AHA" moment come, and I smiled from ear to ear. Congrats on a very clever puzzle.

LOVED IT! I got all the clues except for the anagrams. After reading explanation I went back and stared at the puzzle for a long minute. The loud sound you heard was a palm to the forehead smack when I finally got it. Brilliant.

I had the same route of discovery as the commentator (who I also thank for explaining the 'no-see-um' answer, which I didn't get). And I had the same aha moments. Loved this puzzle.
