"Jejune" is one of those words whose definition just NEVER sticks in my brain. Hopefully this puzzle will get it to stay! I really enjoyed this puzzle. My first pass was really rough, but I was able to work it out. This one felt like an accomplishment to finish.

I seem to be in the minority in finding today's puzzle much tougher than yesterday's. What a fun challenge! I really loved the clever cluing. "Success in another's field" gave me such a great aha moment when I figured it out.
