@kkseattle They’re not - pedant’s corner here but an MP is a member of the House of Commons, while a Lord is a member of the House of Lords. You’d never, ever, refer to a Lord as a member of parliament - despite the fact the House of Lords is one chamber of parliament. Just a cultural reference point lost in translation I think!
