@kkseattle They’re not - pedant’s corner here but an MP is a member of the House of Commons, while a Lord is a member of the House of Lords. You’d never, ever, refer to a Lord as a member of parliament - despite the fact the House of Lords is one chamber of parliament. Just a cultural reference point lost in translation I think!
Some U.K. Lords aren’t MPs. I can see what the setter is getting it but it doesn’t really work.
Seems a bit odd to have one capital city along with its country (Tehran Iran) and another without (Copenhagen). Inconsistent. Other than that a nice Monday puzzle.
