A delight. Love how Fridays start out feeling impossible, then gradually become more doable all the way until you're sad that the puzzle is over. This one definitely fit that bill... my favorite clue was OVEN TIMER.

Harder than most Mondays for me but I liked some of the entries I found trickier (PETULA and BOFFO and AKERS come to mind). Thanks for a fun start to the week!

This was a fun trick, and the grid felt lively with multiple X/Y/Z.

This was a toughie! Kept taking it out on a long hike today and would get one or two clues then get stumped again. I finished right at the end of the hike and I was astonished that I completed what seemed impossible at first. My favorite clue was for ITALIAN SUB. For some reason I was thinking of taxonomic orders and thinking it was going to be natick-y so it was a joyful discovery when I realized I actually can be sure of this answer.

Loved the theme but wasn't a fan of the fill.

i really enjoyed it. i had trouble with COMMONSNIPE because i was thinking the adjective to describe the SNIPE would be more apt to the context in the clue. But, got it in the end! Yay! A puzzle that left me flying high!

i strugglebussed with the three alcohol related answers in North east corner of the grid but otherwise did pretty well and was super happy to get the theme. Thanks Mr. Karp
