A reply all story: In my time at college, there was one of those innocuous emails that goes out to the whole school (faculty, staff, students) announcing that so and so has been hired as the new assistant dean of such and such. It didn’t mean anything to the students but clearly it came as a surprise to someone on staff who accidentally replied all “Did not see that coming!” This became sort of a meme for our class, and someone made stickers that said “did not see that coming” and you’d see them on laptops around campus. We were the class of 2020 so there were always a lot of vision puns being made, but this really took the cake when the way that our time at college ended was truly something nobody saw coming.
