The comments surprised me, didn't realise people had found today tricky - I'm realising that my current comfort is almost entirely a result of learning from past struggles over the years, recognising a lot of the fill. I definitely picked up NETIPOTS from earlier in this year itself! But even so, loved the cluing and fill of this Monday in particular, would've been a PB if I hadn't made a typo somewhere and couldn't find it for a minute! This blog has been so excellent though - I'd love to recommend that everyone try the puzzles from later in the week too with a little nudge from the blog! Everything becomes easier after more and more puzzles, and there's so many fun grids :)

Sped through most of it quick and it was good fun, but I had to look up CUKE/CAMEO, felt a bit of a strange crossing

I rarely comment but I must say this was one of the most satisfying Saturdays in a long time! I used to solve daily in the past but recently had been a bit lazy with the end of the week puzzles, but this one flowed so well that it had my attention the entire time! I was also similarly stuck with the left fully solved and a blank right side for quite a while, but the satisfaction of each clue filling into the next clue, almost brick by brick, I have to say was extremely satisfying - great fill, great clues, so nicely structured, the perfect level of challenge and reward.

@Mads you can email and request to repair a streak if it wasn't your fault! I once had a new year's resolution to do a 365 day streak and NYT games support helped out for 2 or 3 days where it didn't register during that year!

@Anonymous well yes, when you're cluing for a crossword that sort of detail is vital! William and Harry would absolutely call Camilla their STEPMUM. Why specifically use Brits in the clue when hinting at an American spelling? Luckily, the crossing with MUVER immediately made no sense so I corrected course.
