Yuck. That was the least fun Sunday puzzle I’ve done in years. Actors crossing with writers crossing with Nobel Prize winners crossing with place names. Booo. I prefer more words in my crosswords.

Loved the rebus. Hated the rest. Over 40 proper names or foreign words including several that cross? I like a few more actual words in my crosswords.

Too many obscure proper names, too many Far-reaching (if not incorrect) clues and generally a lot of needless slop.

Four proper names and a foreign word all crossing in the SW was almost a streak ended for me. Is that a penta-natick?

Far too many obscure proper names to be a fun Wednesday puzzle. And crossing many of them makes it even less enjoyable.
