Y'all are always complaining about the crossword getting too easy, but as soon as it's a bit of a challenge, everyone's mad.

What a lovely theme! My one nitpick is that with the sun positioned directly over hat, the shadow box should fall directly beneath it. Anyone else notice how often words flit between the mini, midi, and maxi?

Unless there's another reason the name Siri gained prominence, 27D seems to be a mistake. Apple launched Siri in late 2011, something which is burned into my brain for some reason I don't understand
