Hmmm… I got the Odd Man Out, and that the circled letters were odd, and could be removed. That both the full and depleted answers needed to be proper words. The puzzle was about right for me. Except… I still haven’t finished. I’m struggling with 54d and 59d and the answers they cross. I’m sure inspiration will strike soon. (Not looking for answers here, btdubs).

@SBK Definitely not even close. The vowels I use (Eng-au) are similar to “shore”, or even “shu-ah”, for sure, and “shirr” or “fir” for sir.

@Karl, agree. I got tchotchkes, sticker shock and steno pools (typing pools didn’t fit), but safety school, lash up and bettors (hard to believe that one).

What about IFATALL? All the other ‘side’ clues make a recognizable word. This phrase, without a clue, makes no sense.
