Just shows what trivia you know matters. Everyone was crowing yesterday about the puzzle being too easy for a Thursday, and I had to run the alphabet in several places to finally get it right because of a few names. Whereas this one, despite not remembering how to spell Pedro's last name and only remembering that the Breaking Bad lead's names were alliterative but not what they WERE, fell right into place. Delightful puzzle, whether on a Wednesday or a Friday.
@Byron Pith is the white layer under the peel.
@G. L. Dryfoos Yeah, to me "movable feast" is specifically a Christian term -- even aside from the fact that Passover is consistent in its own calendar, something like Thanksgiving isn't a movable feast.
@Rebecca Goldstein Besides, as I said in another thread, as someone who grew up culturally-Christian, movable feast to me does not mean "a holiday that isn't consistent on the Gregorian calendar", it means a Christian festival that moves. Thanksgiving isn't a movable feast even to someone who celebrates both it and Easter.
@Ιασων I had trim on that starting spot in both directions -- for "curtail" as well. Knew one was wrong, but thought one would end up being right. Nope!
And Atlanta, which has been making a big push for film companies lately, though I didn't think it went that far back. (I had the first and last A at that point.)
@Aubrey Yeah, I had GEAR in there for the longest time, screwing everything else up. (And the E, which is correct either way, was the first cross I got.)
