There is nothing more meaningful to me to experience someone sharing themselves vulnerably with an audience of strangers. This puzzle absolutely warmed my heart, and I loved what you wrote in the constructors notes. Thank you. Happy pride everyone!

“Mapleleafm” was my first email address and I still use it today. People always think I’m Canadian, but I’m not. My old school bar trick is MLR is a tune I can always sit down and play by heart. It was such a delight to solve that clue by thinking of the note on which I begin the piece. It’s my favorite song in the whole wide world and always will be. Thanks for making my day.

GLISSANDO When I read the clue I thought, this is too good to be true. I never hear mention of my favorite word in the “english” language. I know musicians who have never heard this term. At first I was tricked that it didn’t fit because of today’s theme but quickly realized that was the answer. Thanks so much for using this very rare and beautiful word! It made my week!!!

My favorite misdirect was the Apples clue which I thought on first glance to be CRISP, then. I remembered why I hate red delicious the most, and solved MEALY. Made my morning!

Gratifying puzzle, especially when my final solve was I RULE!!!

Aside the CODAS which was such an amusing relief for a music fan who doesn’t follow sports - I was delighted by the “notable Guinness” since I’m so accustomed to ALE(S) as a solution I threw that in. Funny enough it’s just one letter off from the correct solution ALEC. Unsure if that was intended to be a trick or not but I found it incredibly clever!
