@Kitty It's the New York Times. We have to be prepared for an American paper to use American clues. If I did an Australian paper's crossword I would expect Australian words and clues.
My first time (in my year of daily solving) finishing a Friday without help or easy mode. So of course I assume the comments are filled with people complaining it was too easy for a Friday. 😂 I don't care. I did it all by myself. 😆
@John Carson this is hilarious!!! 😂 Thanks for this.
@Dave same. That one absolutely sent me to Google.
@Camille Guigliano a Caroline Reaper is a variety of extremely hit chili pepper. It does fit with the rest of the theme.
@koty yeah, I'm over here saying "para" over and over trying to find a way that doesn't sound like "pair uh" and failing.
@Roberta me too! Filled it in so confidently early on, and was loath to change it until absolutely nothing else around it made sense.
@Jon yes. This was a disappointment for me also.
@Ron Bravenec That was my undoing. 😂
@Francis I thought the same thing when I filled that in. 😂
@Greg Mills What a serendipitous surprise! Thanks for showing us Canadians some love. I enjoyed my first Zorse puzzle.
@Splat the clue specified "by mass".
@Jerry think a different sport.
