An enjoyable Wednesday solve. I got a few of the music related solves without fully realizing the theme. Fully appriciated Isaac Aranow's Wordplay column that gave a hint to the theme without revealing the answers until you clicked the provided link. I wish more of the writers of Wordplay would use the same technique as I often need to go to the Wordplay column for hints but not necessarily the answers (until I do need need the answers ;-) ). Happy Wednesday everyone.
@Jason Mendoza but Jason you are human so the 'not a robot' boyfriend has to be DEREK
Great Thursday puzzle. I got the revealer early but I also struggled to 'find' the italicized clues. 1A and 65A most notably did not appear as italicised until i really zoomed in on my screen. A * or even highlighting all themed entries when on the revealer would have been better,
@Crispus Attucks Have you never had baked brie? It was all the rage a number of years ago. And fantastic on a winter buffet table. Slice brie like making a sandwich, spread fig jam or cranberry sauce, or or or, place top of brie on top and bake in a small pot; or alternatilvy wrap in pastry and bake. An ooey gooey spread for sure!
@Sonja it's in reference to a famous American battle (I'm not American so don't know full details) but the quote is 'Remember the Alamo'
