"et alii" was a bit annoying, as it is not ever used. "et alia" was my answer.
Solveable, but the gimmick was so weak as to be irrelevant.
(“Wasn’t at half-staff?” for MET PAYROLL and “Library of Congress?” for KAMA SUTRA) Those are great clues! With all the oblique ones allowed, I'm surprised you didn't get these in.
I solved this one without understanding the trick. duh.
@Murhatroid Sleeken was a stretch. Doter not so much. I didn't know the movies either, but that made it more of a challenge.
@Nancy I wouldn't call either Home Alone or Throw Momma From The Train a horror flick. Both are comedies.
Ugh. I solved it without understanding the theme. I never saw any of the sequels. Would have been easier if I had.
