@Inchoate But Earnest interesting. I didn't use my rebus key at all and had no issues. Just entered the letter like any white square. I couldn't see my entry under the dancer, but it was accepted without issue in solving.

@Marcia Fidler I have the same problem on the app. I've suspected that the app thinks I am in a different country. I've heard the midi is not available in all countries. Maybe you have a similar problem?

@Jennifer it seems like as one gets older, crosswords should get easier as one has had longer to learn and experience more. Not just in life, but also in crosswords. Perhaps older clues seem harder now as they become less topical and more archaic. Or maybe they really are getting easier in general. Probably a bit of both, IMO.
