Fast for me today! I was shocked I got those wordplays quickly because I almost never do. Also had to look up only 2 clues. For a newer solver, I'm pretty happy with that! I had the underlining on the app - maybe an iphone v android issue? I have an android.

Really like CHILI OIL as I was sitting thinking of all of the other ramen condiments with chili in them before I realized the answer. Once I got that, FOLLOWED THE SUN came into place. I originally had it as turned to the sun, which slowed me down a good bit.
filled in Fortieth last! but I found this one to be easy, or maybe I'm getting back into the crossword mindset after a few months break.
@Theo I think a few were clued to us earlier this week. I feel like I remember a puzzle having ERIKA Jong. Same with en pointe and ONTOE.
