I am sad to see so many negative comments when the theme is of how we are similar and can get along. I thoroughly enjoyed the puzzle.
Plotzed and zillionth was a natick for me...
It's amazing how those characters and their catch phrases are so easy to recall, when other memories are not. Is it because of repetition? The fun we had while watching? I don't know, but they are indelible.
15 minutes..fast for me..I couldn't believe Tnia could be correct....but I had confidence in my crossing answers.
This was a tough puzzle for me, but very enjoyable. I was thrilled that my instant guess of rigamarole was correct!
Fun puzzle. Quicker than usual on a Saturday. Yay for molcajete.
Such a fun puzzle..lots of twisty clues. I had a bit of trouble in the northwest..I didn't know the website or the mountain..but I made it!
First time in ages I had to resort to google...I was surprised an Iberian king had an English name...and I just did not know that quarterback..just 2 of my trouble spots....
I got the theme right away, and enjoyed figuring out the answers to it..had a hard time with Archimedes..and the spelling of amok. But enjoyed Billy goat and canoodle.
Lots of fun! I got caught with CURD as the answer..but knew I needed one more STAR..and it finally hit me!
Watch this space.....head slap. Lol. Good puzzle. Loved fast casual.
Fun to do, but very easy for a Friday.
First time I had to give in and look up an answer in weeks..whew..a real Saturday puzzle!
My brain just could not change the present eat..out of house and home...to ate, which held me up for way too long!
Fun but pretty easy. I must say that the Saturday Los Angeles Times puzzle is always much more difficult.
@Kathryn I did enter pulverize and it really slowed me down! I had to get my brain to go in a different direction!
SE was tough..my brain just couldn't read evening as a verb...but still half the time to solve of yesterday's puzzle.
Fun, quite easy for a Saturday.....
I found the long answers easy to figure out once I had a few letters, but found shorter answers more difficult...a fine puzzle all-in all.
At first pass, I thought I couldn't do it..but when I ended that pass by getting "tee total", I thought, "yes, I can!" A good Friday workout.
Fine Monday. I couldn't find a blog post for the Sunday puzzle. Am I alone in that??
Really fun puzzle. Stopped for a moment by mustache and nose hair being the same length..with an s at the same place! Also lots of curses with oh...___.
A breeze for me except for the southwest...just couldn't see rap battle.
I really enjoyed the puzzle...how amazing that the constructor had the scissors and the circles. I don't mind olio..but didn't like yeah so.
@Heidi and after the signs were all up, Andrew insisted they add his middle initial. ..Mario M. Cuomo.......my tax dollars at work.
Had a hard time in the southwest as I just didn't go back to look at my quick fill of sneaks..which was skulks. My granddaughter knew Wario for the purple hat but felt the true answer was really obscure..I wouldn't know!
@Puzzled Brit sadly, without them my kitchen would be overrun in the summer.
I enjoyed thinking about those cartoons..but thought a few clues/answers were really weak..presumably to make it all work..like tea pitcher , leanly?
I got the theme quite quickly, but for me the southwest corner was one big natick.
Finally saw mom to be and nba ref...I didn't like the answer fly lure...awkward.
@The X-Phile I find the Saturday LATimes puzzle to be much more challenging
I just couldn't see au naturel....
@Barry Ancona. Thanks Barry. Who knows what happened!! I didn't get the new news quiz until Saturday p.m.
